Even when classes are over and our YEAR students return back to Russia, we enjoy hearing from them and learning about their success after the program. YEAR alumna, Tatiana Polovtseva, shared that she continues to take part in new courses and always strives for self development. Recently, YEAR alumni participated in a Getting Things Done course, offered by American Councils for International Education. The course offered valuable tips on how to increase productivity, improve time management, and avoid stress. “For me personally, finding time to be creative and work on my style development as a poet was difficult. I always stress out that I don’t have enough time to complete some tasks at work, devote time to family and meanwhile develop as a poet. The course helped me build a system where all my ideas and commitments are structured”, said Tatiana.
